Upgrades Coming Soon to a QuickWatch Protected PC Near You.

Valued MePush Customer,

Is your computer protected with QuickWatch? If so we wanted to let you know we are over the next two to three weeks going to deploy some upgrades to the managed antivirus and monitoring system. While we try to make these upgrades as seamless as possible this time you may notice some icons change in your taskbar or a Windows notification along the line of your computer not being protected.

Windows Security Center asking a User to enable Windows Defender

Windows Security Center asking a User to enable Windows Defender

Please don’t panic. These notifications are expected as the upgrade process uninstalls the old Quickwatch components in order to install the update. We ask that you do NOT click the Windows notification as it may enable Windows Defender which can block the activation of the updated Quickwatch components. You need not do anything in fact. The notification will disappear after a few moments as the updated Quickwatch antivirus engine is installed. Note: the Windows Security Center does not always pick up new antivirus software until after a reboot so be patient. If in the unlikely case something does not go as expected we will call you.
